Summer is the perfect time to give your exotic pet’s habitat a “glow-up” that mimics its natural environment. Here are a few ideas to get you started:

• Summer Terrarium Care: Turn your lizard, frog, or snake’s habitat into a tropical paradise with plants, branches, and moss to replicate a rainforest.
• Bird Cages: Start with a deep clean and add summer-themed items like a birdbath and perches made of natural materials.
• Desert Terrariums: Arrange rocks, sand, and cactus to mimic arid landscapes for pets such as bearded dragons and desert tortoises.
• Aquatic Habitats: Integrate water features like ponds or pools with aquatic plants for pets like turtles and aquatic frogs.

Proper Humidity and Temperature for Reptiles and Other Exotics
